ABOUT ME
My area of interest is supporting teenagers and parents of teenagers. My practice is the merging of twenty years of experience working with teenagers in a pastoral well-being capacity along with the natural medicine of homeopathy.
Parents describe adolescence as the most challenging years of raising their children. Whilst at the same time teenagers describe how misunderstood they feel as they crash from one emotion to the next involuntarily.
Both parents and teenagers feel unprepared for this period. Crashing between rejecting all that they have known to avoid a lifelong dependency on parents whilst still being dependent on them.
Mood swings, hormonal changes, social stress, exam stress, immaturity, physiological changes, issues around body image and sexual anxiety are all normal facets of being a teenager. Areas which are in worked through and reconciliated forming the identity they take into adulthood.
However, for different reasons any one or more of these areas can become stuck. Calling out for external support to bring fluidity back to the organism and mind. Through my homeopathic practice of natural medicine and a relational approach I support teenagers and parents of teenagers to become unstuck allowing the teenager to continue their rites of passage through to adulthood.
MORE ABOUT ME
I discovered homeopathy at the age of 18. At the time I was confined to using cotton gloves in my everyday life due to the excema on my hands. As well as suffering from monthly debilitating migraines.
Thanks to the homeopath who treated me I said goodbye to my gloves and enjoyed a migraine free life.
Homeopathy and health for me go hand in hand and it is the way I have found confidence in navigating the health of my family.
