School Services:
For Students navigating academic pressures, social dynamics, and emotional development within educational settings.

*from £135 per circle*

My structured Talking Circle intervention supports students’ emotional wellbeing, communication skills, and social cognition within a psychologically safe and inclusive environment. Drawing on restorative practice and developmental neuroscience, the programme promotes regulation through positive emotional experiences that enhance engagement, connection, and resilience. Students build self-awareness (metacognition), expand their emotional vocabulary, strengthen active listening, and experience peer validation that reduces shame and fear. Outcomes include improved emotional literacy, increased confidence in self-expression, stronger peer relationships, and enhanced capacity to manage stress — contributing to both academic engagement and overall wellbeing.

This full-day, evidence-informed conference equips delegates with the knowledge and practical tools required to embed trauma-informed practice within professional settings. Grounded in attachment theory and contemporary research on early adversity, the programme combines reflective circle learning with applied case study workshops,

including use of the TEAM Pupil Model and exploration of the “shield of shame.” Participants examine how trauma and attachment styles influence behaviour, communication, and relational dynamics, and develop strategies to strengthen protective factors, emotional regulation and secure attachment. Outcomes include increased professional confidence, enhanced multi-agency collaboration and measurable growth in trauma-informed competencies, evidenced through structured reflection and applied learning.
