My son's asthma flairs up when the weather turns damp. It feels like it coincides with the change of the seasons. There is a slow onset of short sharp coughs, my ears prick up as I hear these especially if there is a chill in the air and he has, obviously, not wrapped up enough.
The short sharp coughs become drier and more frequent. From all the coughing and not being able to get the cough out fully he complains his stomach hurts. He always manages to sleep throughout the night but wakes up early with a dry cough.
Predictably, as it has been so wet here in the UK for the last few days my son's cough has reappeared. I put Coccus Cacti 200 in water yesterday, he had a few sips throughout the day. My little man was without energy sitting on the sofa for most of the day but maintained his appetite and thirst which I took to be a good sign.
He slept through night but again woke up early this morning complaining of his stomach and cough. I have decided to go up to a 1m. He had one dose this morning at 8:30 and within a short space of time his eyes were less droopy he was out of bed and I noticed his humor was back.
The cough is still there but less frequent, more of them sound like he is getting the mucous out and more importantly his energy is back and he is playing happily in his room.
